Barkhan, Balochistan, blast leaves at least 4 dead and 14 injured, according to authorities

 

According to police and medical authorities, an explosion that occurred inside the Rakhni market in Balochistan's Barkhan on Sunday morning resulted in at least four fatalities and 14 injuries.

Dr. Abdul Hameed, the Barkhan District Health Officer, verified the death and added that the injured people had been taken to the hospital.

Abdullah Khoso, the deputy commissioner for Barkhan, claims that a homemade explosive device caused the explosion (IED)
